5 Highly Effective Home Remedies for Acne

Dare to use home remedies for acne.

Because acne is such a common skin problem there have been many home remedies popping up all over the Internet. Though teenagers are the main victims of this skin condition, nearly anybody can get it.

Appearing in the form of pimples, acne is a very common skin disease. For those who have severe cases of acne, you should consult your dermatologist who, more than likely, will prescribe powerful antibiotics. But home remedies are often preferred, as doctor visits can be very expensive.

Most people love home remedies for acne because the methods used are often simple and cheap. And most of these methods are all natural and can easily be found in either your home or local grocery store.

Here are a few suggested remedies:

Eat healthier

There have been some studies that claim that oily foods can be a major cause of acne. So what you have been eating can be contributing to your acne problem. You should eat healthier non-greasy foods such as fresh fruits and raw vegetables.

Stay clean, stay simple

Always keep your face and your body clean. Get rid of any fragrant soaps that you have, and replace it with an un-scented one. As scented soaps often contain chemicals that can irritate skin.

Don't use any exfoliators as these are meant to get rid of dry skin not pimples. Many of these will actually do more to aggravate your skin than to help it.

All natural products

One of the great things about using home remedies for acne is that you can use natural products to cure acne. And most remedies consist of foods that can be readily found in your local grocery store or even your kitchen.

Toothpaste

Make sure you use the white toothpaste not the gel toothpaste. Apply a little bit to your problem areas (though not in any open sores or lesions) after cleaning your skin, leave on overnight and wash off in the morning.

Safflower oil

Using pure safflower oil can be a great moisturizer for your skin. It can also be used to heal open wounds that your acne has caused. And because it is a light oil it won't clog your pores.

Tea tree oil

this oil has a vast amount of medicinal benefits. Just to name a few, it is an antifungal, antiseptic, and antibacterial oil that can be used, quite effectively, against bacteria associated with your acne.

However, this oil can be quite harsh and it is recommended to dilute a tiny bit with water before applying with a clean cotton ball.

While there are many great home remedies for acne, if your acne gets worse you should seek medical attention immediately. While home remedies are great, the advice of a qualified medical professional can be quite valuable.

You should know, that there are a great amount of highly effective home remedies for acne. Some of which can clear your skin within the short period of only 1 to 2 weeks. If you'd like to learn more about these highly effective acne home remedies then click here to watch a free video.
