An Earth Shattering Home Remedy To Cure Your Acne! This Is A Must Read

Having acne all over your face can really be embarrassing for anyone. It's not just teenagers who feel embarrassed. All of us fear rejection from others. That's why we have a desire to make you look as attractive as possible. We have a fear for being considered unattractive and want to avoid it like a plaque.

So if you feel that your acne makes you feel unattractive, don't despair. It's natural for you to feel that way. There's something called the halo effect which says that people tend to preconceive opinions about others by their external appearance. It's in the natural hardwiring of humans. Don't worry that you are doomed to rejection in life.

Your appearance isn't something that you don't control. It's 100% in your control. Can you remember a time when you had clear and flawless skin? If you had it once, you can have it now. It's possible if you are willing to do the things necessary to get that clear and flawless skin.

Here's an earth shattering home remedy that will cure your acne...

This home remedy consists of the green gram flour facial mask. Green gram flour is the key ingredient for clear, flawless and beautiful skin. It's been used by women in the Middle East and India since ages to make themselves look more attractive. So if you want to look more beautiful, you need to use green gram flour.

There's also another ingredient that's required. The other ingredient consists of a fruit/vegetable. There are various kinds of fruits and vegetables you can add. Some fruits may work for you whereas some fruits may not work for you. The only way to find out is by testing because each of our skin type is different. Some fruits/vegetables you can choose from are apples, cucumber, orange, lemon, etc.

Here's how to create the green gram flour facial mask (In this example, I'm going to use orange)...

1. Peel the orange and blend the peels along with a 1/4 cup of water.

2. Add a few drops of honey and milk to the blended mixture and blend it again.

3. The blended mixture will now be a paste.

4. Add green gram flour to it and add some more milk.

5. Mix it until it forms a thick and wet paste.

6. Wash your face thoroughly and apply the paste on all the affected areas

7. Allow it to dry for 45-60 minutes.

8. Cleanse your face with pure water.

Your skin will feel better. Your acne wouldn't have gone away immediately. But it might vanish the next morning you wake up. If that doesn't happen, apply the paste for a week and see. Regardless of the result, apply the paste for a week before you give up. This method works. But the speed at which it works depends on the intensity of your acne and your skin type.

A Rock Solid To Eliminate Your Acne Permanently - There is an ultra effective natural method which will eliminate your acne permanently... With no pills, creams or gels... You will have clear and flawless skin once you use this method. I strongly urge you to find out more about this method on the following page - Click Here

Acne Products - What Are My Thoughts On Them?

I'm often asked: "Which acne products and treatment methods are the best, and is there an ultimate cure against acne?" That is a common question nowadays, since 80% of people with ages ranging between fourteen and eighty suffer from acne.

But let's start with the second part of the question: is there an ultimate cure? The short answer is no! Before treating a patient for skin diseases, dermatologists need to know his medical record. In some cases, a person might be allergic to some form of treatment (or he may have some other problem).

Now let's discuss the first part: "which acne products and treatment methods are the best?" Well, let's start with the most common product that can help against this skin disease - acne soap. This product is particularly popular among people since it is cheap and, in fact, very effective.

Acne soaps come in two forms: classic bar shape and liquid. It doesn't matter which form you like more, but, personally, I prefer the liquid one because it is easier to apply it on the affected area. Cleansers are used to remove dirt and oil from the surface. But please remember that you will have to clean you acne affected skin area multiple times, as it is not a one-step procedure. These soaps' main purpose is to decrease the acne.

Also, what I noticed is that people - especially teens - tend to overuse these soaps (as well as other acne treatments), which can easily lead to skin irritations. If you want to remove acne immediately - sorry, this is not how it works.

Before buying a product, you need to consult your local dermatologist about the type of your skin. Oily or dry skins require different approaches and products; otherwise you can make matters worse. People who have dry skin need to make sure that they use gentle soaps and cleansers.

If you have a sensitive skin, avoid products that require aggressive washing or scrubbing. Instead, look for liquid or gentle soaps and cleansers.

As you can see, there are a lot of things you need to keep in mind before deciding on a treatment method. Actually, that's not quite right: your job is to contact your local dermatologist who will do the thinking for you. Make sure that you understand why your doctors chose this or that treatment procedure and just stick with it. Unless he is completely incompetent, you will get rid of your acne fast!

Acne Treatment Reviews - Get Rid Of Your Nasty Acne

Before we'll get started with the acne treatment reviews, let us first define what acne is. Acne is a very nasty disease of the hair follicles of the back, chest and face. It affects both males and females, usually, during puberty. This is one of the most common skin diseases in the United States.

Acne presents itself as pimples, zits, blackheads and whiteheads. As many other diseases, it can be very mild and also extremely severe.

How To Prevent Acne?

Treating acne is great, but unless you know how to avoid it from appearing again, it will all become in vain. There are a few positive steps you can take to ensure having a healthy skin:

1) When you are already suffering from acne, treat your skin with something that slows down the shedding of epidermis cells or something that tackles the bacteria. Consult your local doctor to find the most suitable product on the market.

2) You will need to gently cleanse your epidermis at least 1-3 times a day. I'm not necessarily saying you should be crazy about it, but if you are using a good anti-bacteria product, it can help you to wash away dead skin cells.

3) Protect your skin. It's a good idea to moisturize your face to shield it from the sun. A lot of acne treatments can make a skin dry, and that's why you need to moisten your epidermis.

Some Easy Treatment Methods

1) In order to prevent and battle acne, your body needs vitamins. That's why I recommend you get plenty of sunshine, which will give you plenty of vitamin D. Taking a walk outside makes you less stressful, which is also a great way to prevent acne for appearing on your skin.

But as I mentioned in the previous section, don't overdo it. Too much sun can cause blocked skin pores, which will - eventually - result in acne.

2) Drink lots of water. Many doctors recommend 8 glasses a day, because dehydration can lead to skin cells not falling off, which will result in clogged pores.

3) Stress is also a factor to consider when treating acne. The internal chemical responses that it brings along can also cause a lot of damage to your skin.

4) Eat more fruits, nuts, seeds and veggies. As I've already mentioned, your body needs vitamins and nutrients which those "skin saviors" contain in massive amounts.

When treating acne, you need to remember that improvements won't come overnight. Be patient, follow the plan your doctor has prescribed, and after a few weeks start enjoying your "new" skin.

Acne Solutions That Work - Searching For The Right Acne Treatments

There are several underlying causes that trigger the development of Acne - a common internal skin inflammatory disorder that affects millions of people around the world. However, there are other external factors that either facilitate acne formation or disrupt the healing process around the exterior acne-affected areas of the skin. As qualified dermatologists aver, even the most comprehensive medical treatments - carried out while the acne is still in the initial stages of development - will fail to eliminate it without dealing with the external triggers first.

Contrary to perception, acne is not caused by poor skin care and hygiene, extremely dry/oily skin, or abnormally large or clogged pores. However, these conditions do affect the skin's natural healing process, making acne sufferers more susceptible or prone to this inflammatory skin disease.

If you have acne, there are some simple acne solutions that work. To start with, these solutions espouse the adoption of some basic hygienic habits to look after your skin everyday. This will help balance its ph levels and, more importantly hasten the acne healing process. As a result, your skin will appear healthier, smoother, more even-toned, and glowing.

Despite the availability of skin lotions - formulated for different uses, like cleansing, exfoliation and medication - there are other simple acne-treating methods that work. These include a twice-daily face wash using a 100% natural, anti-bacterial soap, especially a soap containing tea tree oil, or redness, swelling and inflammation-reducing 'Cetaphil soap. Using such medicated and mild antiseptic soaps will significantly improve the overall look of your skin. Better still, you won't experience the extra dryness, allergic reactions and irritation generally associated with the use of over-the-counter skin-treating agents, like Benzyl Peroxide.

A face wash must always follow a 5-minute steaming exercise. Take these 3 simple steps post steaming:

1. Wet the soap bar with water.

2. Use your fingertips to apply soap around the face with circular movements.

3. Wash the face lightly and then use a cotton towel to pat it dry.

You must know that abnormally oily skin is an indicator of hormonal imbalance which, in turn, causes your sebaceous glands to produce excessive amounts of oil. Thankfully, this problem can be addressed with internal acne medication. However, affected external areas of the skin should be treated with either an oil-controlling astringent, 'Neutrogena' pore-cleansing soap, or with the application of a natural mask made from egg whites or bentonitre. Avoid water-based astringents and alcohol.

Excessively dry skin conditions can also be addressed by internal skin treatments and other methods, such as oil balancing/secretion control medications, anti-toxins, and dietary alterations which include the consumption of healthy food supplements. Additionally, a daily intake of at least 10 glasses of water is also highly recommended to keep the skin well hydrated. To treat external parts of the skin, apply generous amounts of high-quality moisturizers: gels which contain 99% Aloe Vera being good examples. However, do avoid harsh, chemical-based external skin care products. These will only exacerbate a dry skin problem.

Caution: Inflammation, increased redness around affected skin areas, and mild/moderate irritation can be caused by excessive face washing.

Finally, irrespective of the acne skin care brand/products you choose, or the contents they contain, pre-testing each one for a short period and then evaluating its effectiveness is crucial. This can be done by applying miniscule amounts of the product on a dollar-sized area of the skin. Once you find acne treatment solutions that work, regaining smooth, healthy and radiant skin will soon be in sight.

Adult Acne - What Causes It?

According to the UK's National Health Service (NHS), around 80-90% of people between the ages of 13 and 18 will suffer from acne in some form or other in their lifetime.

Many acne sufferers, especially young people, will be able to treat themselves and manage their condition with medication purchased over the counter (without prescription). However, for some people more intensive treatment will be required and therefore a visit to the doctor or perhaps a dermatologist will be required. Many authorities on the subject suggest that by the time most young sufferers reach their early 20s they will no longer suffer from acne. Although occasionally people with extremely sensitive skin may continue to suffer from the condition well into their 40s. There is also late onset acne which is only experienced when someone reaches adulthood.

Acne has no gender preference and both men or women can fall prey to this condition. However there are differing types of skin irritation and spots. It has been said that men tend to get more severe, longer lasting acne whereas women may be more likely to get the condition due to hormonal issues, menstrual cycle, and even as a result of a reaction to cosmetics used on their skin.

Widespread statistics would also suggest that men are less likely than women to seek advice for their acne from a dermatologist.

Acne and Hormones

Sex hormones play a major part in the flourishing of acne, as do hormones generally. During puberty, large amounts of hormones are produced, including testosterone which is the main hormone produced by males and progesterone and oestrogen which are the main female hormones. Interestingly enough, women also produce testosterone as oestrogen is made up from testosterone by special cells found in the ovaries. However not all of this testosterone is used therefore some of it will pass into the blood stream and work its way around the body. Testosterone is the hormone that encourages the sebaceous glands to expand and become over stimulated thereby accelerating the condition of acne.

Differing types of acne

Many types of acne have been recognised by dermatologists and some are listed below.

· Occupational acne

· Adolescent acne

· Infantile acne

· Keloid acne

· Cosmetic induced acne

· Drug induced acne

Each of the above listed types of acne can become apparent in people of any age, apart obviously from infantile acne which as the name suggests only becomes apparent in babies.

The most common form of acne is the adolescent type which is mainly due to the increased hormone levels during puberty.

Drug induced acne can be caused by medication or some types of drugs.

Cosmetic induced acne can be caused by using certain types of cosmetics too frequently.

Keloid acne is usually thought of as a more severe type of acne and usually manifests itself by way of bumpy unpleasant spots.

Occupational acne is generally caused by close contact with harsh chemicals.

Acne Diet - How It Should Look Like?

Let us talk about the acne diet, because every healing process must come "from inside." I'm sure you are aware that eating healthy is important. When you are poisoning your body with junk food, it is your skin that often feels the first negative side-effects.

Acne, as you may already know, has become a curse to about eighty-five percent of population. It has become so common nowadays, that people consider it to be a phase when going through puberty. Acne is caused by change in hormones, when bacteria infects a skin area with blocked pores. Dermatologists treat this skin disease all the time, and they know what steps you must take in order to avoid having it in the future.

Back then, there was a theory that poor diets can also cause acne, but many people did not agree with it. Even today doctors deny any links connecting unhealthy eating and this annoying skin disease. The reason for that is simple: scientists are under huge pressure from pharmaceutical companies who are afraid that people will stop using their "poisons," therefore causing them to lose a lot of money.

Did you know that eating refined carbohydrates may lead to a surge in insulin, which on its hand can lead to an excessive production of male hormones that cause the skin to excrete sebum - a substance that is responsible for the appearance of acne? Well, that's true. Of course, foods cannot be the only factor that decides whether you will have a healthy skin or not, but you should tackle this issue from all sides.

What Should You Eat?

1) Try to eat more "skin savers". Skin savers include fruits, veggies, seeds and nuts. Scientists have found these foods to be great against reducing and preventing acne from appearing again. Do your best to find only the freshest foods you can, and avoid the grocery crap that contains too many chemicals.

Also, make sure you eat salads and drink juices in their raw form, because cooking destroys many enzymes that are important for digestion.

2) Consume more Vitamins and minerals. For example:

a) Vitamin A is important for getting healthy teeth, bones, nail and hair. You can find this vitamin in mangos, melons, apricots, spinach, sweet potatoes, carrots, etc.

b) Vitamin B1 is required for digestion and metabolizing foods, which leads to energy productions. There is plenty of this Vitamin in tangerines, pineapples, oranges, etc.

c) Folic Acid helps to preserve a healthy nervous system. It can be found in melons, oranges, tangerines, etc.

Acne Scarring - What I Think You Should Know

There is nothing as horrible as seeing an acne scarring on your body. Of course, I'm exaggerating, but we live in the 21st century - a cruel century, that requires you to meet important standards established by the elite. We must be dressed to the nines, be confident and have great appearance. But if an acne scar appears on your body, all the plans are out the window: you lose your confidence and people will see you as someone who doesn't take care of himself.

Ok, that was enough negativity for today. Let's talk more about acne scarring and how we can treat them. First, let's establish what an acne scar looks like:

1) Boxcar-shaped - they are round with vertical sides. It gives the skin a pitted appearance.

2) Ice pick-shaped - they are very deep and narrow scars. It makes your skin look like it has been pierced by a sharp instrument.

3) Rolling scars - they present themselves as "wave-like" undulations across the epidermis.

4) Keloid scars - look like a raised, firm mass of skin tissue. It is usually found on men's torsos.

How To Prevent Acne Scars

1) Avoid inflammation at any cost. This will increase the chances of scars to appear on your body. Do not irritate your skin, which includes - using harsh skin care products, aggressive scrubbing, etc.

2) Treat your acne as soon as you see it. Consult your dermatologist for the best possible acne treatment.

3) Do not squeeze or pick your pimples. This can only spread the infection, since your hands contain too many harmful bacteria.

4) If your acne presents itself as cysts, or you are experiencing deep breakouts - contact your doctor. If treated incorrectly, you will see permanent scars on your body and that is what we want to avoid.

How To Get Rid Of Acne Scars?

Now if you are in a bad case scenario, and you do have scars, immediately contact your doctor who will recommend a suitable treatment procedure. At the time you are reading this article, there may be already better ways invented to get rid of scarring. But here are the procedures that your doctor will, most likely, recommend:

1) Punch excision method - this is really an effective way of dealing with ice pick scars. Doctors use a small punch tool that cuts the scars away from the epidermis' surface.

2) Laser resurfacing method - laser is used to vaporize affected layers of the skin. This procedure is used on many areas of your body, including the face.

3) Dermaplaning - using a special instrument called "dermatome," doctors slice skin layers at the scarred area.

Are You Sick Of Poor Spotty Skin?

There are some things that life throws at you that you can just learn to deal with certain things and some you cannot. Suffering from the effects of acne is one of the things that no matter how you try to ignore it, it just does not go away. Unfortunately many people see your spots before they see the real you, and even though you know they do not think about it, you always end up feeling self-conscious. And when you feel self-conscious you end up worrying more about what the other thinks rather than what you think or what you feel.

It's like a bad view of the world, and this affects the way you act. So really, there comes a point where severe acne is no more conducive to a healthy and happy life, and you need to do something. But where to start? Doing your homework is always the best place to start. You really want to find a product that has some key components and important effects. First, to find a product that is made from natural ingredients is really important. Adding chemicals to the mixture when your skin is already challenged would not be the first route to take.

Second, you should look for a product that is fully guaranteed. If a company sells a product and not standing behind it, so it's a good reason to be tired. There is less reason to believe the claims and statements, if the company is not willing to give you your hard-earned money back if it does not work for you. Not everyone makes the product work the same way for each person, so a company must realize that and be prepared to put their money where their requirements are.

Thirdly, find an organization that clearly states what are the ingredients and the effects these ingredients can have on your skin condition. Do you really want to know what you put on your skin and what you put into your body. Chemicals in the product may have undesirable side effects that may result in irritation of the skin even more, causing more stress, which in turn can lead to more acne.

Finally, an acne product to be truly effective, must work internally and externally. Acne is not caused only by external forces, such as dirt, as it can also be influenced by what you take into your body. Some things you eat can have a detrimental effect on your skin, so taking a product that can help balance the negative effects will eventually be more efficacious.

Clear Pores is a three-part skin cleaning product, which does all this and more. I highly recommend it as it works effectively inside and outside, helping to reduce spots, reduce inflammation and swelling, and remove dirt and debris, leaving skin clean, stain free and clear. So, no need to look any further for help. Clear Pores is really a one-stop route to clearer skin and a blemish-free future.

Acne Cures - Five Foods for Clear Skin

Introduction

If you are taking care of the skin on your face by cleansing, exfoliating and applying proper amounts of moisturizer then you are on your way to stopping and preventing acne.

The next step is to ensure your diet is also helping your body to stop and prevent acne. Here are five foods you must be consuming for a skin free of acne and blemishes.

Green Tea- Green tea contains polyphenols that are excellent antioxidants. Antioxidants are one of the best ways to treat and prevent acne. It has also been found to reduce hormonal imbalance and can kill the bacteria that causes acne.

Cooking Oils- Using the right cooking oil will not only be good for your skin, but for the rest of your body. Use oils that have saturated fats in them very conservatively and use those that have unsaturated fats as your main source of oil for cooking.

You may want to also consider taking Omega - 3 fish oil supplements to give your skin a boost and your whole body a boost.

Oatmeal- Oatmeal is a good anti-inflammatory agent that is essential to fight acne. If you eat a lot of process foods, you are susceptible to your immune system over reacting to infections, called inflammation. Inflammation will cause your acne to look much worse than it really is and could cause scarring.

Both oatmeal and Omega-3 will reduce inflammation in your body allowing your immune system to attack only the damaged tissue.

You can also make a skin-scrub from oatmeal using 3/4 cup of dry oatmeal and 1/2 cup of honey, another good natural ingredient used to fight ache. Rub this on your face for a few minutes then rinse off. Your skin will look fresh and youthful afterwards.

Beans - All beans are great for your body. But black beans are better than most because they provide your body with more antioxidants than any other type of bean.

Eggs- Eggs are a great source of vitamin D, and also contain other vitamins and nutrients. Though the whole egg is great for your body, the yolk will help your skin immensely.

Not only should you eat eggs to help prevent acne, but you can also apply raw eggs to the face in the form of a mask. Just beat one egg with something to help hold it together such as baking soda (which will also kill the bacteria that causes acne) and apply to your face. Let set between 5 and 10 minutes and then wash off with warm water.

Conclusion

Taking care of your face by cleansing, exfoliating and moisturizing go along way to help stop acne and keeps your face looking youthful. But go that next step and stop acne by eating the right foods, such as the five I have listed here, which are great for your acne diet.

Best Homemade Facial Masks for Acne

Introduction

There are several things you can do to stop and prevent acne. Such things as cleansing and exfoliating your face, and controlling your diet, all work. But did you know homemade facial masks for acne should also be part of your arsenal to stop acne.

A chemical peel is sometimes confused with a facial mask, so lets take a look at the difference between the two.

Chemical Peel Versus Facial Mask

A chemical peel is performed by a professional to help remove wrinkles, acne, brown spots, etc from your face. This is a very intense and expensive exfoliating procedure that should not be done to frequently since you may do more damage than good to your skin.

A facial mask on the other hand you can perform yourself. These are not as harsh as chemical peels and are done to remove dirt, makeup and oil helping you stop and prevent acne.

So what are some facial masks you can make at home?

Oatmeal And Baking Soda Mask

Oatmeal is excellent for removing dead skin, cleansing the skin and unclogging your pores. Baking soda is used in a lot of other facial masks or it can be used just by itself. It helps remove the excess oil on your skin and will also remove dead skin from your face.

To make this mask combine equal amounts of warm water, oatmeal and baking soda till you have a thick paste. Apply to your face and let set for up to 10 minutes. Then wash off with warm water.

Egg White Mask

This is a rather inexpensive mask that has shown to be effective at stopping acne.

Using one or more eggs, separate the yolk from the whites and then stir the whites if you so desire. Apply the whites to your face using a small brush or even your fingers. Let set for 20 to 30 minutes and then rinse with warm water.

Mayonnaise Mask

To help tighten your pores, a mayonnaise mask may be just what you want, especially if you have dry skin. Some just apply it out of the jar after they warm it up, but some add honey to the mixture for additional help to the skin. Honey will help cleanse the skin and clean your pores while at the same time moisturizing your pores.

Leave this mixture on for 20 to 30 minutes and then rinse off with warm water.

Avoid These and Banish Acne Forever!

Acne, we have been conditioned to believe, can only be effectively treated by the latest skin preparation to hit the pharmacy shelves. We are seduced by the images of an attractive teenage girl- getting rid of an unsightly pimple in time for her date that evening. We have all fallen for this type of advertising only to find that our outbreaks soon return. Return they will because the latest topical preparation that is being hyped on television and in magazines only treats the symptoms of our acne, not the cause. If we want to banish acne forever, we have to avoid some things.

Your body is sending you a message

Your acne outbreaks are a signal from your body telling you that there is something wrong. Something you need to fix. The problem is that we see the surface manifestation and think that is the problem. We are encouraged in this belief by the pharmaceutical companies that make a bewildering range of lotions, potions and pills to cure our skin problem. Most of us are unaware that we are looking for the problem in the wrong place. The root cause of our acne is deep within us where none of the topical treatments can reach. That is where we have to treat it.

The root cause of our acne

The root cause of our outbreaks is a hormonal imbalance which causes a build-up of toxins within our bodies. We eliminate these toxins in several ways, some ways are obvious, but did you know we also eliminate toxins through our skin? One effect of the hormonal imbalance is that we develop an excess of oils in our skin. If our pores become blocked, the excess oil can cause an acne outbreak.

Teenagers have a particularly torrid time with acne as their hormones are all over the place for a few years, but it our diet that is the chief culprit of the hormonal imbalance and therefore of the build of toxins.

We become what we eat

We shall not turn into a burger, fries and fizzy drink. However, this type of food, so popular with teenagers and young people, is high in processed fats, salt, sugar and refined carbohydrates. Much of our modern convenience diet is highly processed containing added salt and sugar. The leading brand of corn flakes contains added salt and sugar. While sweetened carbonated drinks are a major contributing factor to the build-up of toxins, milk - the "healthy" alternative is as bad, but in a different way.

Milk is the ideal food for a growing calf. It has all the nutrients and hormones a calf need to thrive. We are not bovines. Our bodies, particularly during our teenage years, can have difficulty digesting this food. The result is a further imbalance of hormones causing still more toxins.

Treating the root cause of our acne

This requires us to do two things:

1. Deal with the causes of the hormonal imbalance; and

2. Assist our bodies to eliminate the toxins other than through our skin.

This calls for a lifestyle change. The main thing we need to change is our diet. We need to be eating a balanced healthy diet. That is a diet that is rich in fresh fruit and vegetables, lean white meat, oily and white fish.

Our diet should contain:

five potions of fruit and vegetables each day, at least one of which should be a green vegetablea variety of nuts and seedslean white meata portion of oily fish and a portion of white fish each weekwe should also drink plenty of water each day.

There is nothing wrong in having a burger and fries occasionally as a treat. Nor is there much wrong with having milk in your coffee or tea and on your breakfast cereal - but that should be the limit of your milk consumption.

If you stick to a healthy diet you will soon see a dramatic improvement to your complexion. Avoid junk food and excessive milk consumption if you are serious about banishing your acne forever.

Acne Breakouts - Foods That Cause Acne Breakouts

Introduction

Are you a teenager and being told your acne is a result of your food choices? You are told that an acne diet consists of chocolate, sweets and greasy foods. You should ask for the proof before you swallow that nonsense.

The truth is, none of these foods will cause you to develop acne.

So what foods will cause you acne?

Foods That Cause Acne

Let us be clear at the start, it has not been found that any foods can directly cause you to develop acne. But there are some foods that can affect your hormone levels that will result in acne.

This hormone imbalance causes the body to secret more sebum (oil) through the pores in the skin. This oil will cause your dead skin to clump together clogging your pores resulting in acne.

So what foods can cause you to develop a hormonal imbalance?

Dairy Products - In several studies performed in the early twenty-first century, it was found that people, who drank several glasses of milk per day, had a higher instance of acne than those who drank no milk at all. It was found that consumption of 2 or more glasses of milk per day significantly increased the likely hood of developing acne during your puberty years.

Researchers believe that the hormones found in milk will stimulate your insulin. This stimulation will increase the production of the hormone testosterone and decrease the production of sex hormone-binding globulin, causing a hormone imbalance, resulting in acne.

Low-glycemic-index Foods - A couple of studies performed on cultures that ate a diet with a low-glycemic-index, were found to have little or no acne. An additional study on a controlled group showed a decrease in acne occurrences for the group that ate a diet with a low-glycemic-index.

So what is a diet rich in low-glycemic-index foods? This diet consists of lots of green leafy vegetables, vegetables, unsaturated fats, cold-water fish and fruits, in other words, a diet with foods in their natural state.

Those foods that are considered to have a high-glycemic-index are found in processed foods, lunchmeats, saturated fats and other foods that are refined from their natural state.

What researchers have found is that if your diet consists mainly of high-glycemic-index foods, your hormones become unbalanced creating acne. Plus this diet creates more inflammation in your body that may cause the immune system to overreact and attack healthy tissue. This means that if you develop acne, your immune system will over respond and make your acne appear worse than it really should be.

A diet with a low-glycemic-index helps keep your hormones at a normal level plus you have much less inflammation.

Best Way To Treat Acne To See Results Overnight Guaranteed

There are many ways to treat acne. Some being prescribed by your dermatologist, some over the counter at your local market and some homeopathic ways that can save you money at home. But what is the best way to treat acne where you can see results overnight depending on the severity of your acne.

If you don't know the best way to treat acne then you are just shooting in the dark on how you can get rid of it and keep it from coming back. Also by listening to other so called experts; they may say try to combine certain products to get the best results to treat your acne. They are wrong.

Imagine listening to these experts and you have a very important event coming up. Your face has a few blemishes or pimples that need to be taken care of so they are practically non-existent by the morning. Like I said this depends on the severity of your acne condition. This event could have you stressed. It could be the wedding of your dreams or a dance that is happening at your school, or even a family get together. It doesn't matter what the event is; what matters is getting those blemishes or pimples reduced to practically nothing or making them disappear by morning.

Tip One: Start drinking water and only water. this will flush out the impurities from the inside-out. It does work. The average person should be consuming around sixty-four ounces of water per day. So make it a priority make that mark and then some.

Tip Two: If you see any whiteheads on your face then gently pop it. Wrap your fingers with one sheet of toilet paper each. This prevents the oils from your finger from entering your pores and causing more breakouts. Gently prick the whitehead with a clean needle and instead of squeezing the pimple, you do the opposite direction by pulling your fingers apart. Then gently dab or wipe the puss off with a piece of toilet paper.

Tip Three: Get some toothpaste and put a little bit to cover the infected area. Leave this on until it dries. Afterward wipe off gently.

Tip Four: If the infected area seems inflamed then get an ice cube or something cold from the freezer like a bag of peas for example and place it on the infected area. Don't leave it on there. Do this in interval of leaving it on there for a few seconds and then taking it off. Then repeat. Do this for a few minutes or so.

Tip Five: Take and consume an aspirin because this will reduce the inflammation and kill the bacteria.

Tip Six: Don't touch your face with your fingers afterward because of the oils.

Tip Seven: Change out your sheets and pillow case on your bed.

Tip Eight: If you feel that your skin is becoming oily after doing this then take a paper towel and gently wipe it off.

Tip Nine: Wash your hair because the oils from your hair could be causing your skin to break out.

Tip Ten: Relax everything will be fine.

I hope this helps and have a great day tomorrow!

Antibiotics For Acne - Some Important Information

Are antibiotics for acne even worth it? This is the topic we are going to discuss today. First of all, let me explain how acne occurs:

1) Bad eating habits - there is no direct link between eating and getting acne. But I will tell you this: food can increase the possibility of you getting this skin disease. As of now, the only confirmed food type that can worsen the existing acne, are those that contain iodized salt.

2) Personal hygiene - taking care of yourself is really important. Your job is to make sure that your pores will not get clogged by sebum (an oily substance), dead skin cells and bacteria. Do not scrub your face, because this can only infect the affected area.

3) Stress - since during stress your body goes through some chemical processes, it's not really farfetched to assume that there is a link between being in stress and having acne, even if this link is very weak.

There are also some factors that need to be considered, like the environment the person is living in. I will discuss that and other things in my next article.

Now that we have established why acne occurs, let's talk about antibiotics.

How Antibiotics Work?

Antibiotics work on several fronts: they decrease the number of acne bacteria, reduce the irritating chemicals produced by white blood cells. Also, they decrease the concentration of sebum - an oily substance that is partially responsible for acne.

What Antibiotics Exist?

1) Erythomycin - this is a very commonly used antibiotic. It has many anti-inflammatory properties that not only kill the acne bacteria, but also reduce redness on the skin. It is usually taken with food - which is a huge advantage. As a rule, doctors prescribe 240-510 mg dosages twice a day.

2) Tetracycline - as of now, the most popular antibiotic in the world. Usually the dose is 450 mg twice a day, and continued until acne lesions have decreased. Unlike erythromycin, it has to be taken on an empty stomach. Also, it shouldn't be prescribed to pregnant women.

3) Doxycycline - this antibiotic is given to people who do not want erythromycin or tetracycline. It should be taken with food, and the dosage should be about 40-120 mg twice a day.

4) Minocycline - this antibiotic has been used for decades to fight acne. The usual dose is 45-95 mg twice a day. There are also some side effects - nausea, vomiting, dizziness, etc.

5) Clindamycin - oral antibiotic that is not really that popular. It has a very severe side effect: it causes intestinal infections.

5 Highly Effective Home Remedies for Acne

Dare to use home remedies for acne.

Because acne is such a common skin problem there have been many home remedies popping up all over the Internet. Though teenagers are the main victims of this skin condition, nearly anybody can get it.

Appearing in the form of pimples, acne is a very common skin disease. For those who have severe cases of acne, you should consult your dermatologist who, more than likely, will prescribe powerful antibiotics. But home remedies are often preferred, as doctor visits can be very expensive.

Most people love home remedies for acne because the methods used are often simple and cheap. And most of these methods are all natural and can easily be found in either your home or local grocery store.

Here are a few suggested remedies:

Eat healthier

There have been some studies that claim that oily foods can be a major cause of acne. So what you have been eating can be contributing to your acne problem. You should eat healthier non-greasy foods such as fresh fruits and raw vegetables.

Stay clean, stay simple

Always keep your face and your body clean. Get rid of any fragrant soaps that you have, and replace it with an un-scented one. As scented soaps often contain chemicals that can irritate skin.

Don't use any exfoliators as these are meant to get rid of dry skin not pimples. Many of these will actually do more to aggravate your skin than to help it.

All natural products

One of the great things about using home remedies for acne is that you can use natural products to cure acne. And most remedies consist of foods that can be readily found in your local grocery store or even your kitchen.

Toothpaste

Make sure you use the white toothpaste not the gel toothpaste. Apply a little bit to your problem areas (though not in any open sores or lesions) after cleaning your skin, leave on overnight and wash off in the morning.

Safflower oil

Using pure safflower oil can be a great moisturizer for your skin. It can also be used to heal open wounds that your acne has caused. And because it is a light oil it won't clog your pores.

Tea tree oil

this oil has a vast amount of medicinal benefits. Just to name a few, it is an antifungal, antiseptic, and antibacterial oil that can be used, quite effectively, against bacteria associated with your acne.

However, this oil can be quite harsh and it is recommended to dilute a tiny bit with water before applying with a clean cotton ball.

While there are many great home remedies for acne, if your acne gets worse you should seek medical attention immediately. While home remedies are great, the advice of a qualified medical professional can be quite valuable.

You should know, that there are a great amount of highly effective home remedies for acne. Some of which can clear your skin within the short period of only 1 to 2 weeks. If you'd like to learn more about these highly effective acne home remedies then click here to watch a free video.

At Last, A Straightforward 3 Stage At Home Solution For Acne Pimples

Acne is a thing that you simply do not wish for. It is unappealing, humiliating, and full of infectious bacteria.

Surprisingly, many of your outbreaks could in fact be eliminated by merely washing your face properly.

I am unable to imagine a simpler and easier home cure for bad acne than that.

It's actually a lie that an acne breakout is the result of poor cleanliness. As a consequence of this fairy tale, the majority rub their faces to clear out their pimples. This is just about the most severe actions to take for pimples.

To begin with, I am an accredited professional aesthetician. I give facials to people with all sorts of pimples and linked complications. In my working experience, scrubbing your facial skin propagates acne bacterial infection and can actually lead to acne scarring damage.

The key trigger of acne is a biological action, especially in youngsters. It is the response to your skin's oil glands making more sebum, skin oil, than common. As this sebum combines with old skin debris or dirt it may block your epidermis orifices and cause what you name acne.

Acne starts off far down in your pores 2-3 weeks prior to it surfacing. It can appear as white heads, blackheads, complete pimples or cysts within the skin.

Inside my health care practice I have realized that my satisfied clientele who effectively deal with their skin manage to regulate their acne breakouts. Any outbreaks which do appear are generally very moderate.

You can accomplish precisely the same using a day by day home cure for acne regime of cleaning or cleansing your facial area and each week deep cleaning your pores.

1. Washing your skin

• Do not use a wash cloth
• Utilize an acne soap produced for your type of skin.
• Splash your entire face with warm water.
• Caress the acne soap lather to your skin area ensuring that you manage to get every crease and all-around your nose and your forehead.
• Rinse your face meticulously by splattering and massaging.
• Duplicate the rinse several times.
• Dab, don't chafe, your entire face dry with paper towels or a fresh towel.

2. Cleansing your face

Cleansing your entire face is a lot like washing other than the creams are more appropriate at eradicating the excessive sebum and dirt. The system is as follows:
• Flush with lotions created for your skin type.
• Exfoliate lightly to remove the excess oil, dead skin cells, and dirt from your pores.
• Firm up to eliminate the remains from washing, cleansing, and exfoliation. Toning also shuts and firms the pores.
• Moisturize to protect your countenance from the inhospitable natural environment your facial area endures each day.

Toners and/or moisturizers works extremely well with washing. Also, it is recommended that you cleanse your face before bed and either wash or cleanse it each morning. Cleansing assists you to get rid of your cosmetics which must be taken off totally every night.

3. Deep cleaning of your follicles

An each week program of deeper cleaning of your follicles is advised if you have, or are susceptible to, pimples. The process entails two steps and a third step is important at least now and again. The procedures are:
• Exfoliate using merchandise slightly more rough than that designed for cleansing. Choose either a micro fiber cloth fabric or an exfoliating product. Never go beyond it.
• Steam clean your facial area using either a facial steamer or just by hanging your head draped having a soft towel above a bowl of very hot steaming water.
• Apply a makeup mask to take in surplus sebum and tighten your dilated skin pores.

Following these home solutions should prevent, or significantly mitigate, any pimples.

Are You Willing To Follow 3 Tips to Get Rid Of Those Annoying Pimples?

Let's be honest, having acne sucks!

And I know this personally because I suffered with acne almost my entire junior and senior years of high school. And believe me I am completely ecstatic that those days are long gone. I mean every morning I would look at myself in the mirror with my reflection staring right back screaming "help!"

The way we look can have an extremely large influence on the way we feel about ourselves. And if you feel bad about yourself and have low self-esteem, acne can have a very negative impact on the rest of your life. Acne can make you feel so negative about yourself that you won't even want to get out of bed. And even have problems going to a friend's party or even that job interview. Acne can have a very serious effect on all parts of our lives.

So what exactly is acne and why is it worse for some that is for others?

You probably already know this, but acne is a skin condition which then surfaces on the skin as pimples. Now there are blackheads, and white heads, and nodules, and cysts; but in my opinion you can call them whatever you want, it's all acne. Now some people actually get acne a lot worse than others and it seems like it's just because they are who they are. To a certain extent this may be true; as your genes may contribute to how acne prone your skin will be.

Yeah I know it doesn't sound fair, but it seems as though some people are just predestined to have acne prone skin. I guess this is just one of the facts of life.

So now that you have acne; is it possible to get rid of acne easily?

At last, this is why you're reading this article in the first place. In my opinion some of the easiest ways to get rid of acne is through natural means. However, there are many products and home remedies out there. So how do you choose which one is the best for you? While I'm not a doctor, I can give you a few remedies that have not only worked for me in the past, but continue to work for me to this day. These remedies have also work for many others.

Tea tree oil

First thing I want to say is that this remedy is simply awesome. It has, literally, an uncountable amount of beneficial properties. It's not only in antifungal but also an antiseptic among many other things. But be careful when you use this as it is quite strong. A little dab will do you. All you really need is to put a little bit on a cotton swab and apply a small amount to the problem areas. Or you can dilute it with a drop and some water. You should never swallow this oil.

Yogurt and oatmeal

So you can actually make homemade paste with some organic plain yogurt and some all natural steel-cut oatmeal. This combination can actually make for very nice facemask and since it is all natural you don't have to worry about weird chemicals. So all you have to do is apply it to your face for at least one hour every other day. After a short time you will notice your skin looking healthier, and free of pimples of all kinds.

Over-the-counter

You can also try one of those over-the-counter face washes or creams that are designed to get rid of your acne. When I was in school the choices were simply Clearasil or Noxzema. However, there are many more options today. Proactive is extremely popular. But as your skin is likely different from my own, I cannot say whether it would work for you or not. Though many of these over-the-counter and prescribed choices may come with side effects including but not limited to drying your skin out and even in some cases making your acne worse.

Best to go natural

In the end, it's your choice whether you decide to use an all natural remedy or one of the over the counter products. However in my opinion it's always best to go natural, as natural remedies have very few, if any, side effects and can improve your overall health and well-being. If you'd like to learn more about getting rid of your acne quickly and then all natural way then immediately visit http://thepimplesolution.com/ to watch a FREE video that will help you get rid of your pimples.

Good luck

A Busy Schedule Shouldn't Stop Your Acne Treatment Regimen

We all know that life can get hectic. We have to go to work, hang out with our families and friends, and take care of the day-to-day dealings we all have. With so much going on, we can forget to take the time out to take care of ourselves, and our skin can be one of the victims of self-care neglect. At the end of the day, we are far too tired to wash our faces and apply a proper skin care regimen. Some of us have busy work traveling schedules, making acne treatment regimens difficult to keep up with - especially for those of us with sensitive acne-prone skin. So how can you properly treat acne while having a busy schedule?

Start A Routine That's Structured

Just like a work schedule, taking care of your skin means that you have to structure a proper acne treatment and incorporate it into your everyday life so that it becomes a habit. It's important for busy people to incorporate an easy, repeatable routine so that they won't think about it - and the same goes for acne treatments! An easy, three-step routine of cleansing, treatment, and hydrating twice a day will become like a habit in no time. That kind of simple routine doesn't even need any other extra steps or products, either, making it very easy to include into a morning and evening routine, even for busy people.

Treat Acne On the Go with Spot Treatments

It's possible to treat acne, even while traveling! Look for travel-ready acne spot treatments that you can easily carry in a purse or bag when you're on the go (especially ones that are in airplane-sized smaller amounts to get you past the check in at security). Even if you're busy traveling you can still treat acne breakouts when they happen, on the spot, as they happen. While you're out and about, if you feel a breakout coming, just hop into the bathroom and apply some acne spot treatment!

Opt for Automatic Shipping for Your Acne Products

What better way to not worry about when to restock on acne treatment products than to opt in for automatic product shipping? Every sixty days, your products automatically ship to you so that you don't have to take time out of your busy schedule to make an out-of-the-way trip to the pharmacy or the crowded shopping mall. With automatic product shipping, your acne treatment products will arrive on time and will save you precious time in your hectic schedule.

Your skin doesn't care if you're busy! It still needs your time and attention if you want it to remain healthy and beautiful. You don't need to find a lot of time for your skin, but you do need to find some time!

Jocelyn Saurini is a freelance writer who is never too busy to review an effective acne treatment plan or to find a great body and back acne treatment. She's acne-free after years of searching for exactly the right acne products to treat her sensitive skin.

A Handy Guide on How to Prevent Acne

Introduction

One of the most common medical conditions in the United States today is acne. In fact, it is believed three of every four teenagers today suffer from this condition.

The conditions that are needed for acne to develop are a hormone imbalance, excess sebum (oil), dirt, dead skin and bacteria. Control one of these and you can prevent or stop acne.

So if you have acne or are worried about getting it, here is a handy guide for you to follow to prevent acne and even stop it.

Clean Your Face

Since acne develops from excess oil, dead skin, bacteria and dirt, you can take care of these four items by cleansing and exfoliating your face. This helps remove these four items helping you prevent acne.

Cleansing does not mean using regular bar soap (dries your face out), but a cleanser especially designed for your skin type. This should be done twice a day, once in the morning when you get up and at night, before retiring.

This type of cleansing will help remove sebum, bacteria and dead skin.

Exfoliating once or twice a week will help remove excess dead skin.

Drink Water

You have heard that drinking water is good for your over all health. But it also helps in controlling and preventing acne. By drinking at least eight glasses of water a day, you help remove body wastes more efficiently, preventing and stopping acne.

Dairy Products

Recent research has shown a link between consuming dairy products, such as milk, and the development of acne. One study found that you could have almost a 50% increase in acne by drinking at least two glasses of milk a day.

It is believed that consumption of milk will increase the amount of sebum (oil) your body produces. So if you drink milk and have acne, you may want to stop drinking milk and see if your acne condition clears up.

Diet

Your diet should consist of natural foods such as green leafy vegetables, fruits, whole grains and lean meat or poultry and fish. This type of diet removes the inflammation in your body caused by you consuming processed foods.

Processed foods are foods that are refined from their natural state and contain high amounts of Omega - 6 which promotes inflammation. Inflammation will cause any breakout of acne you may develop to be more severe than normal.

Exercise

Exercising is good for good body health. It will also help you to prevent acne, by flushing your pores of bacteria as you sweat.

Conclusion

Following these steps to prevent acne should help you obtain or keep a clear skin.

Acne Cream Products: Your Key to Clearer Looking Skin

Having physical problems can be a bummer, yes, but sometimes, the most painful damages are the ones that are skin deep. This is the same with acne. Yes, it can cause problems on our physical appearances but the blow it can cause on our self-esteem are the worst to deal with. How can you face the world with your head held high if your face is plagued with this skin problem? Worse, what if your acne is the type that leaves scars behind? Dealing with pimples is one thing. Learning how to remove acne scars is another and greater dilemma.

If you want to keep yourself from suffering this fate, do your best to keep your face clear from pimples.

Fortunately, science has already given us countless acne removal treatments from acne cream products to clinical treatments choose from. The only downside of having too many options is choosing which one will be the best for you. If you've already tried countless acne cream brands and gels, then it's probably time for you to try clinical treatments. One very popular form of acne scar removal is the use of light technology. Here, the skin is exposed to different wavelengths of light to kill the bacteria and other causes of acne.

One example of a laser and light treatment is photodynamic therapy. This type of treatment makes use of topical medications and light-based procedures to get rid of acne. A photosensitizing agent is applied on the epidermis to amplify the effects of the blue, pulsed, and red light directed to the skin afterwards.

Another option for acne cream products is photo pneumatic therapy. This type of procedure makes use of vacuum suction in order to remove dead skin cells and oil from the sebaceous glands. Afterwards, the affected area is exposed to red and blue light therapy to kill P. acnes and to minimize skin inflammation.

Then there is also the Diode laser therapy. Here, diode lasers are used to destroy the sebaceous glands found in the dermis or the middle layer of the skin while keeping the surface layer safe from any damage. This causes more pain on the patient than the other light therapies but the pain can be managed with the use of analgesics. By undergoing this therapy, the glands that cause the oil, which in turn causes the acne is removed. Another option for acne cream is the blue light therapy. In this procedure, the skin is bathed with low-intensity blue light to kill the P. acnes. This procedure is painless and may need ongoing treatments.

How To Treat Acne - What You Need To Consider

Today we will talk about how to treat acne - a disease that can turn a life into a nightmare. Nowadays it is really important to look great, and that's why we can't afford to have any imperfections on our skin. Of course, these are all standards set by the elite, but in order to achieve anything in this life, we need to follow them (at least partially).

What Is Acne?

Acne's full name is "Acne Vulgaris," but since using one word is much simpler + it can be easily remembered, people just stuck with the unofficial version of the name. Acne is a disease that occurs when the sebaceous glands produce an oily substance called sebum, which serves as our body's natural moisturizer. When excessive amounts of sebum combine with dead skin cells and bacteria, it tends to block the pores, which results in acne.

Usually, this skin disease appears on the chest, shoulders, back, buttocks and face.

This disease is so common nowadays, that only a few people even bother to take care of their skin - they just think it is an important part of going through puberty. Latest statistics show that almost 20 million people here in the U.S are suffering from this skin disease.

Why Do Some People Get Acne?

Despite the fact that this is one of the most spread diseases in the world, it is still not completely determined what causes this skin disease to appear. Here are a few theories:

1) Gender - males tend to suffer from it more than females.

2) Age - Acne occurs also because of hormonal changes, and when do they happen as much as during puberty?

3) Genetics - some families have a predisposition towards getting acne.

4) Diet - Foods do not really cause acne, but they sure can complicate matters.

5) Cosmetics - oil-based makeups can also play an important role in getting acne.

6) Stress - it causes some internal chemistry processes to speed up the development of this skin disease.

There are also other reasons why people get acne, and I will discuss them in my later articles.

How To Treat Acne?

If you have an extremely severe form of acne, go to your local dermatologist. No, I mean it! With this dangerous skin condition, you need professional help.

But in most cases, your acne should be absolutely treatable at home. Here are some most common natural ways to treat this skin disease:

1) Wash your face at least twice a day with a sulfur based soap. Be gentle to your skin and do not scrub it. Over-washing your epidermis will cause it to dry out, therefore increasing the development of sebum - an oily substance that is responsible for acne.

2) Drink lots of water.

3) Eat more fruits and vegetables - they contain vitamins that make a skin healthier.

Blue Light Acne Treatment And Its Benefits

Since acne is such a widespread problem, researchers have come up with a number of different treatment methods. All of these methods promise that a person will be able to cure his or her acne quickly. One of these treatments have been introduced by a dermatologist that promises to clear acne and scars cosmetically.

Blue light acne treatment is one of the newest acne treatments available. This treatment is also referred to as photodynamic treatment. This procedure requires that a person lie down for 15-30 minutes per week for a period of three to eight weeks. The treatment time may be longer or shorter and all depends on the severity of the patient's acne. This procedure involves using a blue light wavelength to destroy the bacteria that causes acne.

A patient may also apply a levulan balm along with this procedure. Levulan causes the skin to crust and turn pink, but it also helps reduce acne and scars. Although the use of this procedure is relatively new in the world of dermatology, it has been around since the 1970s.

What are some of the advantages of this type of therapy?

The long-term side effects are still unknown, but some positive effects of this procedure have been identified. Below are some of those effects:

1.) This treatment clinic is perfect for those who have had experienced adverse effects from other acne treatments. For example, antibiotics are a commonly prescribed acne treatment. Antibiotics can cause the body to resist other types of antibiotics. This increases the chance of developing other side effects. Accutane - Another one of the most commonly prescribed acne medications. This medication has serious side effects including depression, suicidal tendencies and birth defects.

2.) This is a great alternative if you forget to apply your cream or take your medication.

3.) Blue light therapy is great for people who have not gotten the best results from other types of acne treatments. Those patients who have become resistants to topical creams or antibiotics now have another option for treating their acne.

Another advantage is that there have now been blue light treatment kits available for use in the homes. These kits are affordable, but experts do not want whether these kits are as effective as the ones that are used in clinical settings.

This procedure is just one of the many acne treatments available. However, you should consider trying natural cures first. Generally speaking, natural is better. This will prevent you from wasting your time and help you save money in the long run.

Not Many People Know What Causes Acne

Today we are going to talk about a very interesting topic: "What causes acne?" There are many theories floating around the web, so I've decided to spare you some time and summarize everything you need to know.

What is acne? Well, it is a very nasty - and sometimes painful - skin disease. In most cases, it is not dangerous, but when incorrectly treated can leave scars. Because our skin pores are connected to glands, it allows sebum - an oily secretion that carries dead skin - to block our follicles and therefore causing pimples to appear.

What causes acne? Well, that is the "one million dollar" question, isn't it? Dermatologists aren't complete sure about it either, but they have made some valid theories that I'm going to discuss today. Keep in mind though, that there are multiple variables that need to be kept in mind when trying to determine what causes this skin disease.

Dietary Problems

One of the most common causes of acne is eating unhealthy foods. Don't fall into this false misconception that foods do not influence the skin, because as studies have shown, the unhealthier you eat, the more likely you will suffer from acne.

What shouldn't you eat? Well, staying away from processed foods would be a good start, because the chemicals can cause hormonal imbalances in your body, which on its hand can leave its mark on the skin.

Stress

I'm not kidding. As recent studies have shown, there is a direct correlation between stress and acne breakouts. The more stressed you are, the more hormones your glands produce; and as it does that, we start to see pimples on our bodies.

So as you can see, it is important to be able to relax. Although, in the 21st century - where the economy is as bad as ever - this could turn out to be one heck of a challenge.

Hormonal Causes

I've already touched on this. If your body experiences an imbalance in hormonal levels it can lead to acne. When sebaceous glands start to produce a great amount of sebum, dead skin cells block pores on your epidermis. This leads to intense development of acne bacteria and that's when the inflammatory process begins.

Not Enough Vitamins In Your Body

I'm sure your parents have already told you this, but if your body lacks vitamins, it becomes very vulnerable to many diseases. The reason is simple: vitamins eliminate toxins and wastes from your body, and if this doesn't happen you increase the chances of the development of acne bacteria.

How to Avoid Pimples and Get Clear Skin

It is no secret that there are millions of products in the market today promising to clear up your acne in no time and give you clear skin. However, the key to avoid pimples is to correct your diet and make lifestyle changes. Acne free skin is a hallmark of good nutrition and an internal balance. Acne is an indication of an internal process that is not in balance. Internal balance is achieved by adhering to a 'green' lifestyle.

A 'green' lifestyle is one in which you are eating foods that we are evolved to eat. Humans were never meant to eat High Fructose Corn Syrup(HFCS) and processed foods. Our faces are a reflection of our diets. If you put garbage in, you get garbage out. If you continue to eat processed foods high in sodium and other preservatives, you will continue to get pimples. Our bodies require balanced and nutritious foods to function properly. I am not preaching a vegetarian or vegan diet here. Rather, I am asking you to take an objective look at what you are eating. Are you starting off your day with cereals loaded with sugar, corn syrup and maltodextrin? Or are you starting off your day with staple foods such as eggs, wheat bread and veggies? I used to think diet and acne had no relation to each other. The media had done such a great job of brainwashing me that I thought acne had to with everything else besides my diet. To rid myself of acne, I switched from one acne wash to the other. I tried over the counter face wipes, prescription drugs and even considered a powerful and dangerous drug called Accutane to rid myself of this curse. Yet for all my efforts, I was rewarded with more acne.

I was able to avoid pimples and clear my skin by making the switch to a 'green' lifestyle. I now eat unprocessed foods which I cook myself from raw ingredients. I eat rice, meat, beans, wheat, potatoes and other foods which are in their raw states. I am very careful of eating foods from a box or bag. If you want to get clear skin, you must make an honest attempt to cut out processed foods from your diet and instead eat foods that are closer to their natural state. That is the one piece of advice which I think will help you the most in avoiding acne and getting beautiful skin.
